"Riverside Manor" was built in 1911 and occupied through the 1920's by a prominent lumber baron within the region. This was a time when Everett and Seattle WA both were carving out their respective timber markets, embarking as trade centers for products up and down the west coast."
"The facility has seen 5 owners amid its title pages and each added their respective personality to the buildings character over the years. The past 6 years, the interior of the structure has taken remarkable cosmetic changes and has been restored to have the elegant appearance of a bygone era."
In late 1994, the Gosney family from Bellingham and Whidbey Island, fell in love with this northend property and purchased it for their residence. Believing she was born some hundred years too late, Mrs. Gosney's panache for interior decorating converted the once country look of the property into a more elegant and sophisticated theme --- Victorian style!
What began as a fetish for fulfilling her dream of owning a Victorian home one day, Mrs. Gosney spent the next 2-3 years changing things around, inside and out, adding her personal flair to nearly everything she touched. Buying this, buying that. Tearing down this, installing that! Digging up this, and planting that! Right before both their eyes, Victorian Vows was born!
Through these thresholds have been some very wonderful people, mostly all strangers the day we met, but friends from that moment on. Folks from nearly every state in the union have married here. Be it the couple who just graduated from high school or college, or the second or third time marriage of John & Marsha from a couple states away, or Miss Ohio, who heard about us and flew here with her fiancee weeks later.

Whether your wedding party is just the two of you (we'll be your witnesses), or a party of 35, there is a ceremony package for everyone.
Especially creative, is a special "destination package" that was designed by Rev Verlyn-Rose expressly for those arriving here from out of the area. This package includes a Victorian Wedding ceremony on the premises, a limo ride to the Seattle waterfront, where the newlyweds take the "Victoria Clipper" hydroplane ride to beautiful Victoria BC --- a romantic Victorian city enjoyed by tourists worldwide.
